BACKGROUND
The customer required a second line test facility for avionics units fitted to a military support helicopter.
ACTIVITIES
- Requirement development together with customer
- Designed and manufactured RF ATE in collaboration with another company responsible for other aspects of the ATE
- Developed and built 13x application test packages for a range of navigation and communication units
- Collaborative design of air-portable avionics workshops in which the ATE was fitted
- Completed automotive and air-portability trials in conjunction with MoD facilities
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Delivered 3x systems to customer in 2000s of which two are currently still in use and supported under a multi-year renewable support contract.
